Your radio sucks don’t it. Assembly line, copy cat, auto-tuned rap&b built to program our youth for stupidity. No more creativity, artistry, lyricism, versatility…its like we’ve abandonded the very principles the game was founded on. But the revolution is coming. And it won’t be on your radio (not yet atleast). There’s a tornado on the horizon…and its coming from Brooklyn. Rapper A-N0N the Carnegie Kid is breaking the molly-poppin, makin-it-rain monotony that rules hip hop right now. The self-proclaimed “Hootinest Rootinest Tootinest Shootinest,” Carnegie Kid’s music is classic east coast braggadocio. Innovative song premises. Witty punch lines, catchy hooks. Avant-garde instrumentals. But its all in his delivery — he changes speeds and cadences from the slow flow of a Biggie song like “Who Shot Ya” to the rapidfire style of Andre 3000 on “Bombs Over Baghdad.” One part throwback…one part revolutionary…Like you aint already know it was Carnegie Kid!
